Karen has been with Nationwide E&S for 19 years in the Contract Commercial P&C West Region, first as an underwriter and now as an underwriting manager for the past 10 years. Her team supports general agents with offices in 10 western states, many of whom have the authority to write business countrywide. Karen has 25 years of industry experience, with prior roles in professional lines and workers’ compensation.

Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. She completed the first Foundations of Underwriting Management program at Nationwide. Additionally, Karen holds the CPCU® and ASLI™ designations.
